The Radio Science and Engineering (RSE) Track Freshmen take basic school-wide lectures including MSC (mathematics, science, and chemistry), culture and social science, while sophomores take basic theoretical major courses, major design courses and experimental major courses in the radio science and engineering (RSE). Juniors and seniors cover not only conventional RSE topics, but also advanced microwave engineering topics including RF integrated circuits. They deepen and polish their knowledges and skills through immersion education using well-established theory and design lectures. Capstone design should be carried out by almost all students, which is most emphasized in a whole RSE education program. The education program that the RSE track provides includes
- balanced and in-depth education in theory and practice (design and experiments) of RSE
- basic education in electrical and electronic engineering
- emerging technology issues of RSE at industrial fields
- acquisition of an ability to identify and solve the problems through strategic thinking
- cultivation of a broad aptitude in communication, cooperation, command of foreign languages, and understanding of indigenous traditional as well as world-wide cultures
- development of a sound sense of human values and strong leaderships
The Info. Comm. Engineering Track Freshmen will take basic lectures offered school-wide including MSC(mathematics, science, and chemistry), culture, and social science while sophomores will take basic theoretical as well as practice courses in electronics- and computer-engineering. Juniors will cover not only advanced topics in electronics- and computer-engineering but also basic and core courses in electronics- and computer-communications. Seniors will then further deepen and polish their knowledge and skills through advanced topics in Radio(Microwave) & InfoCom (as a merger of electronics- and computer-communication) technologies and their applications. Most importantly, team projects will be carried out by each student through the four-year-long consecutive classes on creative design, which constitutes the most critical emphasis part of the whole InfoCom education program.
- balanced education in electronics engineering and computer engineering
- reinforced in-depth education in electronics- and computer-engineering
- education of timely and living knowledge on fast changing trends in InfoCom technologies at industrial front fields
- acquisition of the ability to independently identify, to devise solution strategies for, to design, to implement, and to solve problems
- cultivation of the broad aptitude in communication, cooperation, command of foreign languages, understanding of indigenous traditional as well as world-wide cultures
- development of sound sense of human value, world vision, and strong leadership
